Tonybet Poker is set to run its second annual online Open Face Chinese Poker tournament series, the OFC Grand Prix from April 26th to May 3rd. Before the start of the series, some of the best known OFC poker pros shared their thoughts on the upcoming Tonybet Poker tournament frenzy.

“Great to see TonyBet on the cutting edge of Open Face games with new variants and with their upcoming Grand Prix series,” the winner of the OFC World Championship High Roller event, Jennifer Shahade said in an interview.

She was extremely happy about the chance of winning live tournament packages during the course of the online series: “It's particularly exciting that they're awarding live event tickets. I had such a great time in Prague at the first Open Face World Championship and look forward to playing more live OFC in 2015!”

The Brazilian Open Face Chinese poker champion Pedro Marte said the OFC Grand Prix provides a great chance for new players to learn and enjoy the game of OFC poker: “There is no better opportunity for Open Face Chinese Poker fans to enjoy the game and test their skills than Tonybet's OFC Grand Prix. It is also an opportunity for new players to join the OFC party, learn the game and its newer variations.”

Just recently Tonybet introduced two new games to its OFC selection, 2-7 Pineapple and Progressive Fantasy, both of which will be featured on the week-long tournament series.

“This year we have lots of new stuff, we will have 2-7 Pineapple and Progressive Fantasy tournaments which are the two new variations Tonybet recently added to its game selection and this will give a very special touch to the OFC Grand Prix series,” Marte said. “If you are not familiar with these variations yet do not feel ashamed, they are new and you can check Tonybet's channel on YouTube and watch myself teaching all the rules.”

Last year Marte himself not only won the High Roller event, but also topped the player leaderboard. He expects to continue the good run in this year’s series: “I am very excited about the OFC Grand Prix also because during last year’s series I managed to win the High Roller tournament and the Overall Leaderboard, let’s see if I can make it back-to-back. I can dream right?”
